Graveside services for Reba Lucille Gooch LeMasters, age 98, of Vandalia, will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Fairmount Cemetery in Middletown with Renee Seeley officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 4-6 p.m. at Bienhoff Funeral Home in Laddonia.
Mrs. LeMasters passed away at 10:15 a.m. November 25, 2012 at her daughter’s home in rural Vandalia.
She was born September 23, 1914 in Montgomery County, the daughter of Henry and Ora Lee Moore Jarboe.
She was married to Herbert M. Gooch on April 20, 1935 in Palmyra and he preceded her in death September 26, 1965.
She then married Garnett LeMasters on January 29, 1976 in Middletown and he preceded her in death November 19, 1986.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Jo (Loyd) Seeley of Laddonia and Bonnie (Gene) Seeley of Vandalia; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; eight brothers and sisters; an one grandchild, Regina Seeley.
Mrs. Lemasters was a lifetime are resident and member of the Middletown Christian Church.
She was graduate of the Middletown High School. She was employed at Bobbie Brooks for over 30 years.
She was a member of the Montgomery County Extension Club and had served as treasurer of the Fairmount Cemetery Association for many years. She enjoyed quilting.
