The Community R-VI Athletic Boosters held Mouse Madness, a night of live mouse races and lots of fun on Friday, March 22 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Martinsburg. “It was a great success,” said Alisha Glasgow, who was chair of the event. Around $10,500 was raised by the event through the community support of the fundraiser.
Doors had opened for the event at 6 p.m. Dinner was served at 6:30 p.m. and Mouse Races started at 7:30 p.m.
The event consisted of a live mouse race, a silent auction, and a 50/50 mouse wheel.
Folks could also purchase package deals for reserved seating and tables, all you could drink, and tickets.
“It is so nice to see our community come together to support all the Trojan athletes so the Athletic Booster Club is able to purchase new equipment, upgrade athletic facilities, purchase uniforms, etc. for all the Trojan athletes.” Glasgow said.
