The Monday Study Club met at 1 p.m. on October 28 at the Country Cupboard Restaurant. Deedie Reading was the hostess.
The meeting was called to order by President Reading, as she led the pledges to the American and Christian flags.
Jackie Marshall had the devotional, “Bedside Blessings.” She closed with a prayer for the food and for our many blessings.

The program consisted of sharing of things people had done for the summer. Some shared summers past and others shared what they did this past summer. Most included family events, cruises, class reunions, and an Amish auction.
The members present were Donna DeTienne, Ann Foreman, Val Galloway, Helen Thompson, Doris Ray, Kay Reading, Deedie Reading, Jackie Marshall, Martha Hopke, Beverly Largent, Jan Armstrong, Emma Belle Clithero,and Edna Mae Wallace. Guests present were Dottie Cahill, Brenda Elliott, and Norma Shaw.
The meeting was adjourned as all members recited the Club Collect in unison. The next meeting will be on November 11 at the United Methodist Church with Helen Jerman as hostess and Martha Hopke giving the special study.
