Services for Lola Claudine Stewart, 87, of Vandalia, will was held on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Adiel Baptist Church with Reverend Richard Epperson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Vandalia.
Visitation was held on Sunday evening from 4-6 p.m. at the church. Bienhoff Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Stewart passed away 9:46 a.m. July 18, 2014 at Luther Manor Nursing Home in Hannibal.
She was born October 5, 1926 in Curryville, the daughter of Claude Sr. and Cecil Painter Schutz.
She was married to Eugene Stewart on February 1, 1946 in Bowling Green and he preceded her in death February 19, 1986.
Survivors include: five children and their spouses, Barbara (Marvin) Jennings, and Ronnie (Vicki) Stewart, all of Frankford; Dale (Katherine) Stewart, of Vandalia; Patsy (Bob) Kuntz, of Bowling Green; and Norman E. Stewart, of Hannibal;  three sisters, Phyllis Harrelson, of Vandalia; Maxine Ulrich, of Bowling Green; and Lucy Bise, of Mexico; one brother, C. Albert Schutz, Jr., of Mena, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and  several step-grandchildren and  step-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers were her grandchildren.
