Karen (Susie) Riley, 64, of Bowling Green, passed away Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013 at the Moore Pike Nursing Home in Bowling Green.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green with Pastor Al Boatman officiating.  Visitation will also be Saturday, from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
She was born on Nov. 30, 1949 in Bowling Green, the daughter of J.C. and Dorothy Mae Epperson Fletcher.  She was married to Billy Wayne Riley in 1965 and he preceded her in death.
Surviving family are her three children Darrell W. Riley and significant other Theresa Emily, of Olathe, Kan., Ronald L. Riley and wife Crystal, of Bowling Green, and Donald L. Riley and wife Melissa, of Bowling Green; five grandchildren, Jeremy, Jordan, Kelsey, Amber, and Eathan; one greatgrandson, Gunnar; and one brother, Danny L. Fletcher and wife Terri, of Overland.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Susie was raised and lived most all her life in the Bowling Green area.  She had owned and operated The Flower Hutt in Bowling Green for several years.  She also worked for Crystals, Eastern Missouri Livestock, Vandalia Country Club as a cook and waitress, and later with NECAC after receiving training from Eolia VoTech. Susie enjoyed collecting dolls, coins, and all Disney and Elvis memorabilia.  She raised miniature  pinscher dogs and had been a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
