Judy Salsman Heathman Conrad, age 64, of Hannibal, died at 8:40 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the Willow Care Center in Hannibal.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Burial will be at the New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Wither’s Mill.
Visitation was Tuesday, June 11, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Judy was born on Jan. 28, 1949 in Quincy, Ill. Her parents were Paul and Geneva Skinner Salsman.
She is survived by one daughter, Kelli Salsman Turpin of Monroe City; one son, Paul Heathman of Columbia; four brothers, Calvin Vine (Susan), Chuck Gilmore (Terry), Carl Ray Corbin (Peggy), and Ernie Marks; four grandchildren, Kayla Turpin, MacKenzie Turpin, Chevy Turpin, and Shelby Heathman; a special friend, Linda Wood; and several nieces and nephews.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Donald Crim, and a sister, Ramona Corbin.
Judy was previously employed as a certified nurse’s assistant in home health care and as a newspaper carrier. She most recently was employed at the Ayerco convenience store in Hannibal, from which she retired. Judy enjoyed scratching off lottery tickets, playing Yahtzee, and especially loved her candy and “Blizzards” from Dairy Queen. She was a Christian by faith.
Pallbearers will be Paul Heathman, Michael Heathman, Dave Johnson, Jake Lewis, Darin Conrad, and Daylan Brown.
