A St. Ann woman learned that she will serve a decade-long prison sentence during a sentencing hearing on August 24 at the Audrain County Courthouse.
According to Case Net, Arline Diedrich, age 40, was sentenced by Judge Wesley Dalton to 10 years for drug trafficking charges in the second degree.
Her sentence will run concurrent with the one she has served the past year in the Department of Corrections.
Diedrich was arrested in July 2017 with Richard Henry in connection with the death of the late Leon Wilder III, age 30, of Columbia.
His body was discovered last year on Audrain County Road 997 near the Centralia Battlefield.
Wilder was shot and it was believed that Henry was the shooter in a drug deal that also allegedly involved Justin Traughber.
Prosecutors eventually dropped felony charges for Diedrich that included abandonment of a corpse; murder (1st degree); robbery (1st degree); armed criminal action; unlawful possession of a firearm; and tampering with physical evidence in felony prosecution.
Henry’s list of charges include first degree murder, armed criminal action, abandonment of a corpse, among others.
Reportedly, a grand jury is being sought from Warren County in Henry’s case.
Traughbert pled guilty to drug trafficking in June and is expected to hear his sentence by the end of this month.
