Agape House decorated

Posted on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 12:20 pm

Board members decorated the Agape House for the Christmas season at the Dec. 4 meeting.
In the business meeting that followed, members heard that 55 persons had stayed at the guesthouse in October and November, traveling from as far away as Tennessee and Vermont.
Touch up repairs were made to paint recently.
Guest surveys were reviewed and were largely positive in the house and its management.
Surveys are important since they offer suggestions to improve operations.
Guest members in attendance were Carlene Galloway, Janet Heim, Sterling Holbrook, Elwood LaRue, and Phil Pennington.
The next meeting will be Jan. 8, 2019 at the house.
Monetary gifts received in October include the following: United Way, of Audrain County; Edgewood Baptist Church, of Bowling Green; Life Leadership Ministry Team, of Camdenton; Ramsey Creek Baptist Church, of Clarksville; Bethlehem Baptist Church, of Centralia; Curryville Baptist Church and New Harmony Christian Women’s Fellowship, of Curryville; Farber Baptist Church; Grand Crossings Baptist Association, of Fulton; Residents Encounter Christ Team, of Jerseyville, Ill.; Helen Renner, of Kansas City; Laddonia Christian Church; Lockewood Park Baptist Church and Friendship Baptist Church, of Mexico; Richard and Angela Stith, of Richmond; Cecilia Wells, of Springfield, Tenn.; Hopewell Baptist Church and John Yost, of Thompson; Spencer Creek Baptist Church, Southside Baptist Church, First Baptist Church, First Presbyterian Church, and First Christian Church, all of Vandalia; and Randi Richardson, of Sheffield, Ver.
