Olson is the Director of Promotion and Education Programs for the Missouri Farm Bureau Federation. One year ago, the Van-Far/Community R-VI football team opened its season with a tough 49-0 loss to Living Word Christian of O’Fallon. They also lost the total yardage battle, 379-130. Clithero recognized for 50 years of Masonic service

On Tuesday, August 19, Vandalia Masonic Lodge No. 491 honored Louis B. (Benny) Clithero for being a 50 member of the lodge. Brother Clithero was pinned by his son David, of Columbia, and was presented his certificate by District Deputy Grand Master Tim Turco, of Louisiana. Bennie was initiated on February 1964; passed on April 21, 1964 and was raised on June 13, 1964.

Inductees from 41 counties bring with them a total of 1,566 years of volunteer service to the hall of fame.
