Members of the Audrain County R-VI FFA Chapter in Missouri were one of 43 teams participating in the National FFA Meats Evaluation and Technology Career Development Event (CDE). The event was held in conjunction with the 87th National FFA Convention and Expo in Louisville, Kentucky. The team, led by advisor Stacy French, was awarded a Gold emblem.     The Van-Far R-I School District  received a “clean opinion audit” for the 2013-14 school year. The declaration was made by auditor Travis Huntley during the Van-Far R-I School Board meeting last Thursday. Huntley represents Gerding, Korte, and Chitwood. Class of 1959 holds reunion

The Van-Far High School graduating Class of 1959 held it’s 55th reunion on October 25 at the Country Cupboard in Vandalia.
