Fred Davis won the Runner-Up plaque at the “Car Show in the Park XV” River City Cruisers event held this past weekend in Hermann, Mo. Davis won the award for his 1986 El Camino. There were a total of 294 vehicles on display

  • Local runners enjoy chance at competing in 82 mile race

    Six area ladies recently formed a team and were among a select group of 200 teams that participated in “The GO! Missouri™” KT82 inaugural race on Saturday, August 30. The one day, 82-mile trail relay, featuring scenic trails like the Katy Trail, started at Creve Coeur Park in St. Louis County and finished in Hermann, Mo. Local runners included Vandalia’s Felicity Goodpasture-Culwell, Susan Farrell, Farber’s Dana Keller, and Mexico runners

    Vandalia’s Kinley Elzea enjoys cooking and likes spending time in the kitchen with her family, including time next to her grandmother Barbara Elzea. Their relationship along with an interest in family cookbooks led to a passion to create her own cookbook. She began getting recipes from different family members and even made some of her own.
