VAHS Museum to reopen

At a new time, the Vandalia Area Historical Society met at the Genealogy Library at 9 a.m. on March 21 with coffee and donuts. President Paul Ray welcomed the group and asked for new discoveries and donations.     Larry and Molly Stotler, of Vandalia, announce the birth of their son August William on March 1, 2015 at 11 p.m., at Audrain Medical Center, in Mexico. Their son weighed 7 lbs. and 10 oz. and was 21 inches long. August’s grandparents are Bud and Leota Teague, of Vandalia, and Bill and Honey Stotler, of Frankford.

    Girl Scouts from Troop 9894, a group of 24 area girls, have enjoyed trips to the Science Center, the St. Louis Zoo, and two Disney On Ice performances.     Several customers, friends, and family members piled in the Audrain County 4-H Building last week to recognize Joyce Borgmeyer and Gary Wrye for their combined 88 years with the Farm Credit System (PCA-FCS Financial).
