Computer Classes

The schedule for Wednesday Computer classes to be held at the Vandalia Branch Library. • Beginning Internet classes will be on February 4, from 10- a.m. to 12:15 p.m. • Step 2: Microsoft Word classes will be on February 18 from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. • Email classes are on February 25 from 10 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Please register in advance at the library.

  • YMCA Project’s a go, meeting on Jan. 22

    There will be a capital campaign meeting on January 22 at 6-7 p.m. at the Vandalia Area Historical Society on Main Street pertaining to The Eastern Audrain Library/YMCA Project. When the project acquired the $500,000 from the NAP grant, that made this project official. Pledges are being collected as well as one time donations to help fund and start construction. The sooner people contribute the sooner the project can get

  • DAR holds December meeting

    The Susanna Randolph Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution met on December 4 at the United Methodist Church in Vandalia. Regent Ann Carter called the meeting to order. Joy Davis asked the blessing before the meal. The meeting began with the opening ritual including the singing of the National Anthem.   • VAHS Museum is closed until April

    The Vandalia Area Historical Society announced that the museum will be closed until approximately April 1 depending upon the weather. Visits to the museum can be arranged by appointment during this time by calling Charlene Teague at 594-3026 or Pat Trower at 594-3999.
