With 20 boys set to compete for the track and field team, Van-Far’s 2015 Spring season could end in the school’s first ever district title in the sport.     The Community R-VI track and field girls team features several underclassmen as the program begins to benefit from a successful Junior High group.     The Community R-VI golf team is set to start the 2015 Spring season with a new head coach after Vicki Briggs retired in 2014. Johnathan Guilkey takes over as the program’s newest coach.     R-VI and Van-Far players named to all-conference team Several players from either the Van-Far or Community R-VI School Districts earned EMO All-Conference honors at the conclusion of this past season.     A 23-win season came to an end last Tuesday night in Kirksville when the Community R-VI boys basketball team once again battled undefeated Meadville in the state playoffs.
