St. John Lutheran Women’s Guild

The St. John Lutheran Women’s Guild met on February 11 at Dotty Cahill’s home. President Brenda Elliott called the meeting to order and opened with prayer.     David and Michelle Vogt, of Mexico, announce the birth of their daughter Lydia Marie, on December 24, 2014, at 11:47 a.m., at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Mo. She weighed 5 lbs., 5 oz., and was 18.6 inches long. Lydia’s grandparents are P.A. and Judy Hull, of Farber, and Lee Roy and Sherri Vogt, of Laddonia.  She shares a birthday with her Grandpa P.A.

  • Mexico-Audrain Library receives award

    The Mexico-Audrain County Library recently received a Breastfeeding Friendly Worksite award. There are three standards; Gold, Silver, and Bronze. ACHD’s goal is to help support other worksites in Audrain County to be recognized as being breastfeeding friendly. Audrain County Health Department congratulated the Mexico-Audrain County Library for becoming a Breastfeeding Friendly Work site.   • VAHS Museum is closed until April
