The Van-Far Music Department celebrated its chorus and band students during the High School Band and Choir Concert and Awards Ceremony held Monday, May 6. Martinsburg area residents enjoyed vehicles of all ages, a cruise, music, and food during the 10th Annual Martinsburg Cruise Night held on Friday, April 26. The event was hosted by the Martinsburg Area Community Betterment. Miss Audrain 2013 Morgan Lockowitz also was scheduled to make an appearance. The Farber Community Betterment Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, at the Farber Community Building to discuss roadside park clean up and mowing, the June 8 all-town garage sale, and summer movies. Everyone is encourage to attend. Farber Community Betterment has adopted the roadside park on Highway 54 at the eastern city limit. Farber Community Betterment will host an Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at Sportsman Park. All kids 6th grade and younger are welcome to attend. At 11 a.m. sharp, the Vandalia Area Chamber of Commerce is holding an Easter Egg Hunt at Tri-County Park. Kids will go on hunts in four age groups ranging from 0-12.
