Van-Far’s Junior High students were honored with an annual program last Monday. The 8th grade promotion was held on the same evening. The event began with the Junior High Choir performing “Ave Verum Corpus” and “Come in from the Firefly Darkness.” Choir awards were then given to Sharon Baur and Sam Cordes. R-VI FFA hosts Food for America event

Audrain County R-VI Chapter and Greenhand Officers planned a Christmas themed Food For America program for Kindergarten-5th grade classes at Community R-VI Elementary School. FFA members taught elementary students about Christmas tree production, then created Christmas tree snow globes in mason jars. Officers plan a monthly program for the elementary students to educate them about different areas of agriculture, ranging from food production, commodities, plant science, and animal science.

    Van-Far’s 6th grade band students perform.

    The Van-Far Elementary School 5th and 6th grade students presented “North Pole Exposure” on Monday, December 16 in the gymnasium.
