The Farber Community Betterment Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, at the Farber Community Building to discuss roadside park clean up and mowing, the June 8 all-town garage sale, and summer movies. At 11 a.m. sharp, the Vandalia Area Chamber of Commerce is holding an Easter Egg Hunt at Tri-County Park. Kids will go on hunts in four age groups ranging from 0-12.
Boy Scout Troop 54 will have a sign-up night for boys ages 10-and-a-half to 18 at 7 p.m. Monday, March 25. Troop 54 has been in Vandalia for more than 50 years and offers young men many outdoor activities, everything from archery to woodworking. Scouting helps youth develop personal goals, as well.
