    The Audrain County Health Department (ACHD) reported the scores received after January inspections were completed in  food establishments of Audrain County. There were no critical violations found. The following businesses received an inspection score of 100: Xpress Mart, Xpress Mart 2, Dollar General (Clark St.), China King (pre-opening), L.M. Gourmet Coffee, Audrain Handicap Services Locations of Harvey House, Breckinridge Heights, and the Developmental Center, Dollar General (Monroe St.), Pizza Hut

  • Kevin Lowrance resigns as administrator for ACHD

  • Audrain County’s L.E.P.C. helps Martinsburg with siren purchase

    Audrain County’s Local Emergency Planning Committee (L.E.P.C.) approved a measure to use $1,425 of its limited resources to help the City of Martinsburg erect an emergency siren at its recent first quarter 2015 meeting in Mexico.   • Emergency training course held for local residents

    Members of local Fire Departments from Curryville, Farber, Laddonia, and Vandalia as well as Van-Far Ambulance personnel gathered at the Farber Fire Department for a 16 hour course instructing Emergency Vehicle Operation.   • Class set for Severe Storm Spotters

    The National Weather Service Severe Storm Spotter and Weather Safety Training Class for Audrain County will take place 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, at the Farber Fire Department, 114 East Highway 54. The Farber Fire Department and Audrain County Emergency Management Agency offers this free training and by the completing the class, participants will be given information on how to register as a volunteer storm spotter.
