    (Hannibal, MO) – Hannibal Clinic’s Kind Hearts committee recently made two donations to organizations that offer support to children on the autism spectrum and their families. Donations were made to Marion County Services for the Developmentally Disabled and Shine a Light On Autism. The Kind Hearts Committee hosted a fundraiser at the Hannibal Clinic to raise the funds.   • ACHD Receives Gold Standard

    The Audrain County Health Department recently received the  Breastfeeding Friendly Worksite Award. There are three standards; Gold, Silver, and Bronze. ACHD received the gold standard. They’re the first work site in Audrain County to be recognized for being a breastfeeding friendly worksite. ACHD’s goal is to help support other work sites in Audrain County to be recognized as being breastfeeding friendly. ACHD is part of the HE/AL (Healthy Eating/Active Living)

    The Audrain Medical Center Board of Trustees met Thursday, May 22 with Bill Dubbert, chairman; Sterling Oliver, vice-chairman; Gene Thomas, D.O., treasurer, and Peter Perll, M.D., member in attendance. Staff attending were David Neuendorf, president and CEO; Kari Wilson, vice-president of Clinical Services, COO, CNO; and Renae Rowe, executive assistant. Member absent was Jo Ellen Craghead, secretary. Bill Dubbert reported that he, Dave Neuendorf, and David Schulte toured several locations.

    Audrain Medical Center, a Member of SSM Health Care, earned the Outstanding Achievement Award recently for the 4th Time. The Commission on Cancer (CoC) of the American College of Surgeons (ACoS) has granted Three-Year Accreditation with Commendation to the Cancer Program at Audrain Medical Center.  This marks the 4th time AMC’s cancer program has earned this award and the only program in Missouri to receive the outstanding achievement award this
