  • Culvert Replacement

    On Tuesday, March 11, MoDOT crews will close Route BB in Audrain County east of Scott’s Corner from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for an emergency culvert replacement. The road will be closed today between Route AA and Audrain County Road 649 which is just west of Route W.   • Bridge work on US 154

    As of Tuesday, February 18 at 7 a.m., US 154 between Curryville and MO 19 is blocked to traffic for up to 35 working days for bridge deck rehabilitation on the Spencer Creek Bridge, which is located just east of Route P and west of Blue Jay Road in Ralls County.   • Storms causes trouble in area

    A tractor trailer overturned last week just outside Farber on Highway 54.

    A mixture of winter storms, extremely cold weather, and icy conditions hit the Vandalia area last week. This resulted in the Van-Far, Community R-VI, and St. Joseph School Districts being closed from Monday-Thursday, February 3-6. Several businesses closed early on Monday and Tuesday due to the weather conditions.   • Hollingsworth retires after 29 years

    Dennis “Hoot” Hollingsworth retired from the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) effective January 1, 2014. Hoot had 29 years of service with MoDOT at the time of his retirement. Hoot began his career with MoDOT in July 1976 as a construction assistant at the Perry Project Office.
