R-VI students take third in Envirothon

On Wednesday, April 9, Community R-VI students participated in Regional Envirothon at the Runge Center in Jefferson City, taking third place. They will now advance to state Envirothon competition on May 1. Shown, from left: Mason Sims, Maddy Wieberg, Kaleb Harris, Julie Hale, and Lindsey Gastler. The team is coached by high school science teacher Melanie Utterback and they were sponsored by the Audrain County Soil and Water Conservation District.

  • Van-Far track picks up more medals

  • Indians drop pair of EMO contests

    The Van-Far Indians baseball team is still looking for its first win of the season after dropping a pair of EMO Conference contests last week. Van-Far led 4-3 through three innings in their home battle with Wright City on April 10.
