One year ago, the Van-Far/Community R-VI football team opened its season with a tough 49-0 loss to Living Word Christian of O’Fallon. They also lost the total yardage battle, 379-130. What a difference a year makes.   • Lady Indians softball team struggles in Hallsville tourney

    The Van-Far Lady Indians softball team traveled to Hallsville this past weekend to start their season with two games in Hallsville’s annual tournament.
