MoDOT— Weekly work for September 3-13

Audrain Co.
Maintenance
Route D – Sept. 3 road closed 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. for pavement repair; parts of the road will be open to local traffic only.
Route U – Sept. 3 road closed 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. for pavement repair; parts of the road will be open to local traffic only.
Route C – Sept. 4 road closed 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. for pavement repair; parts of the road will be open to local traffic only.
Route EE – Sept. 5 road closed 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. for pavement repair; parts of the road will be open to local traffic only.
Various Routes –September 3-13 possible intermittent lane closures or slow moving vehicles blocking driving lane for surface and/or roadside maintenance operations in various locations.
Montgomery Co.
Construction
MO 161 – Resurfacing from Route M to MO 19 north junction in Montgomery City, 17.75 miles; in progress with completion by 9/6/13; one lane traffic with pilot car while work is performed;Troy Project Office
Maintenance
Route A – Sept. 4-9 one lane traffic 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for pavement repairs at various locations from MO 19 at Wellsville to MO 161 near Middletown.
I-70 westbound – Sept. 5-6 one lane traffic with a 12 ft. width restriction from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. for bridge deck repairs on the Loutre River Bridge.
Route B – Sept. 10-11 one lane traffic 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for pavement repairs at various locations from MO 19 at Montgomery City to Route ZZ at the Callaway County line.
Route N – Sept. 9-10 one lane traffic for bridge deck repairs on overpass over Interstate 70.
I-70 North Outer Road – Sept. 11-12 one lane traffic 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for pavement repairs at various locations from MO 161 at Danville to Route F near High Hill.
Various Routes – Sept. 3-13 possible intermittent lane closures or slow moving vehicles blocking driving lane for surface and/or roadside maintenance operations in various locations.
Pike Co. Construction
MO 79 – Bridge replacement over Little Calumet Creek; 0% complete; working on drilled shafts with no impact to traffic; closure scheduled for September 9. Estimated Completion: Fall 2013; Hannibal Project Office
Maintenance
MO 79 – Sept. 3-5 one lane traffic 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for pavement repairs at various locations from Louisiana to Route B east of Frankford.
Route HH – Sept. 4 one lane traffic 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for sealing operations from US 61 near Cyrene west to Route Z.
Route F – Sept. 5 one lane traffic 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for sealing operations from US 61 east to the end of State Maintenance at Pike County Road 286.
US 54 – Sept. 5-6 one lane traffic 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for pavement repairs at various locations from Bowling Green to Curryville.
Various Routes – Sept. 3-13 possible intermittent lane closures or slow moving vehicles blocking driving lane for surface and/or roadside maintenance operations in various locations.
Ralls Co. Construction
MO 79 – Pavement and shoulder improvements from Route T in Marion County to Route E and N junction near Saverton; 45% complete – Sept. 9 Phase 2 scheduled to begin., from the MO 79 and Fulton Ave junction continuing south to Continental Cement. This segment will be open to the traveling public during the course of the project with a width restriction of 10 ft. within the project limits. Two-way traffic will be controlled by a timed signal. Detour for this project is available for oversize or permitted loads with width restriction of 11 ft. Estimated Completion: Fall 2013; Hannibal Project Office
Route J – Preventative maintenance on Mark Twain Lake bridges over the Cannon Reservoir and Lick Creek. Work involves substructure repairs and modifications, expansion joint replacement, removal and replacement of asphalt surface and upgrading the existing guardrail. Bridge will be closed for 20-30 days once the structural work begins with some lane closures for surface work. Full bridge closures will not take place between Memorial and Labor Day due to tourism and recreational use of the lake – work is temporarily suspended; Estimated Completion: Fall 2013; Macon Project Office
Maintenance
Route M – Sept. 5-6 road closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day for culvert replacement at Cherokee Drive.
