Methodist church welcomes minister

The Rev. Helen McFarland

The United Methodist Church of Vandalia welcomes the Rev. Helen McFarland, who is an Ordained Elder in The United Methodist Church.
Rev. McFarland is a graduate of Culver-Stockton College with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Philosophy.
She is also a graduate of Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas City with a Master of Divinity degree.
Rev. McFarland has served in the following churches; Sharpsburg and Andrew Chapel; Elsberry and Smith Chapel; Callao, Mt. Zion West, and Milam Chapel; St. James and Belle; Edina, Bee Ride, and Knox City; Hydesburg and First in Hannibal.
Within the United Methodist Church organization, she has served on the District Committee on Ordained Ministry, directed church camp, and was a district and conference youth coordinator.
She was also involved in Girl Scouts as a troop leader, trainer, and trip and event planner.
Rev. McFarland would like to welcome everyone to attend Sunday School at 8:45 a.m. and worship at 10 a.m.
