Vandalia woman arrested and charged for assault
On August 3, 2013, at approximately 7:13 p.m., a Pike County 911 received a report of a woman lying on a bridge on Pike 15 near Spencersburg.
Located was Jane Yager, who had injuries to her head and neck.
Jane Yager was treated by Pike County Hospital Emergency Medical Service.
Investigation by the Sheriff’s Office resulted in the arrest of Tina M. Yager, age 23, of Vandalia.
Tina Yager allegedly struck Jane Yager with a beer bottle causing injuries to her head and neck.
Pike County Prosecuting Attorney Mark Fisher charged Tina Yager with a Class C Felony of assault in the second degree.
The Honorable Judge David Ash issued an arrest warrant and bond is set at $10,000 cash only.
All persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law.
