Monday, June 10
At 10 a.m., residents enjoyed the game of bowling with staff assistance from Shelia Green, Susan Jennings, and Davaline Overton. At 1:30 p.m., residents enjoyed exercises with the assistance of Davaline Overton.  A large crowd was in attendance. At 6 p.m., the bi-weekly Bible Class was held with Denna Nichols and assisted by Angie Gerderman.
Tuesday, June 11
At 10 a.m., residents enjoyed exercising outside. A very large crowd was in attendance with the assistance of Shelia Green, Susan Jennings, Kitty McCurdy, and Davaline Overton.
At 6:30 p.m., the monthly music program with Wayne and Roy Lynn was held with a large crowd  in attendance.
Wednesday, June 12
At 10 p.m., residents on the East Hall enjoyed listening to the reading of The Vandalia Leader newspaper with the assistance of Davaline  Overton. The residents enjoyed hearing the news.
At 1:30 p.m., the afternoon was enjoyed by all with Abby Maiden and her Aerobics Routine.  Everyone had a good time and they all enjoyed her. At 6:30 p.m., the monthly music program with the Faith Tabernacle Church was held with assistance by Angie Gerderman.
Thursday, June 13
At 10 a.m., the Second Christian Church Ladies (Inez McPike, Virgie Overton, Lillian Johnson, and Katherine Salmon) were here for the monthly program. They brought out fresh fruit for the residents.
At 1:30 p.m., afternoon exercises were held with a large crowd in attendance.
Friday, June 14
At 10 a.m., residents enjoyed exercises with the assistance of Traci Shaw.  At 1:30 p.m., residents enjoyed Birthday Bingo with the assistance of staff who were also assisted by volunteer Jewel Hammett. A large crowd was in attendance.
Saturday, June 15
At 1:30 p.m., residents enjoyed the Father’s Day program with Marylyn Schlueter and friends. Refreshments of punch and cup cakes were served.
Sunday, June 16
At 2 p.m., the Sacred Heart Catholic Church held the worship service. Next week the Mount Olivet Presbyterian Church will be in charge. A large donation of red, white, and blue flowers were made up for all four dining rooms for Flag Day and the Fourth of July from the Scarlett O’ Hatters.
A donation of pillow covers was made by Brenda Owens and Jeannie Spires for all employees for all the hard work we do.
