Approximately 150 people participated in the “Running For Kim 5K Run/Bike/Walk” event held on Saturday, June 8 in Vandalia.
The benefit event was held for the Hodde family to help offset financial costs for Kim Hodde and her fight against cancer.
Organizers of the event said nearly everything was sold out for the barbecue.
To still donate to the cause, the public is encouraged to give their financial donations to Lisa Otis, treasurer of the Dianthus Club.
Otis works at Dr. Craig Long’s office (Advanced Healthy Smiles), located on Main St. in Vandalia.
The list of winning runners for the event were reported to The Vandalia Leader.
No information was provided for those who were walking or riding bikes.
