Monday, May 27
Residents enjoyed the movie of “Country Tonite” with refreshments of popcorn and soda with assistance of Susan Jennings, Abbey Maiden, and Traci Shaw.
Tuesday, May 28
At 10 a.m., exercises were held with Davaline Overton and assisted by Susan Jennings with a large crowd in attendance.
At 1:30 p.m., residents enjoyed the Golf Game with assistance of Kitty McCurdy, Susan Jennings, and Davaline Overton.
Wednesday, May 29
The Vandalia Leader was read at 10 a.m. to residents on the East Hall outdoors. They were taken outside by Susan Jennings and Shelia Green. A large group was in attendance.
From 1-2 p.m., residents enjoyed employees singing with karaoke music. Everyone had a good time.
Thursday, May 30
At 10 a.m., exercises were held with Traci Shaw with assistance of staff.
At 1:30 p.m., residents enjoyed the trivia game of Penny Ante with assistance of Stephine Terrell, Traci Shaw, Susan Jennings, and Davaline Overton. Everyone enjoyed the trivia.
Friday, May 31
At 10 a.m., residents enjoyed exercises with assistance of Davaline Overton.
At 1:30 p.m., the monthly Birthday Jingo was held with the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with volunteers Betty Hays, Joe Frieden, Nancy McDonald, Virginia Graves, Doris Ray, Patsy Clithero, Jewel Hammett, and Norma Daniels. A large crowd was in attendance. Refreshments were served ice cream and cookies.
Saturday, June 1
Residents enjoyed exercises with assistance of Davaline Overton. A very large crowd was in attendance.
Sunday, June 2
The Beacon of Hope Church was in charge of services. Next week will be the First Presbyterian Church in charge of services.
Donations for the Activity Department were received from Sandy Chandler and Betty Hays. Books for the library were donated by Vernelle Hull.
