Donald Denbrock, age 82, of Bowling Green, passed away March 16, 2013 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.
Memorial services will be held 4 p.m., Thursday, March 21, at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green. Visitation will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday March 21, at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
Donald was born April 14, 1930 in Cole Water, Mich., the son of Frank and Josephine Burns Denbrock. On March 31, 1984 he married Annette Angela Liverzani at the Methodist Church in Putnam Valley, New York. She survives.
Other survivors include one son Peter Faranda of Putnam Valley, New York; four daughters Cindy Cobble, Donna Stickles, Mary Jo Stickles all of Pine Plains, New York and Lisa and husband Shawn Bixby of Bowling Green; one brother John Denbrock; three sisters Patty Homan, Marlene Knopp, Sharon Otis; three grandchildren Breanna, Brenden and Brittney Bixby; many nieces and nephews and a special nephew Dan Denbrock. He was preceded in death by one brother Frank Denbrock Jr.
Donald grew up in Cold Water Michigan until he went into the military. After leaving the Navy he moved to Mt. Kisco, New York where he started working for Columbia Artist as a motor coach operator. Mr. Denbrock was a Methodist. He also served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He moved to Bowling Green in September of 2008 to be closer to his grandchildren. He enjoyed being with his grandchildren.
