Van-Far Indians win Mark Twain title

Recently, the Van-Far JH Indians basketball team won the Mark Twain Junior High 7th grade tournament championship.
During three games played February 2-3, the Indians opened with a victory over Mark Twain 46-26.
Sharrod Connor and Brayden Christian each scored 16 points, Josh Hodde added seven, Lathyn McMorris scored four, and Park Wallace had three points.
In game two, the Indians knocked off Monroe City 49-18.
Hodde led the team with 12 points. Daylan Chandler and Wallace each scored eight points, Colten Jensen had seven, both Christian and McMorris added six points, while Connor had two points.
In the championship game, Van-Far knocked off Marion County 40-22 behind Hodde’s 16 points.
Christian scored nine points, Jensen added five, Connor scored four, while Wallace, McMorris, and Chandler each scored two points.
The Van-Far Indians basketball team is coached by Dee Wheeler.
