Author Brenda Troesser’s book “For the Love of Jack” is currently on sale at the Well Read Book Store in Fulton, Mo.

The novel, initially considered teen genre, should be read by anyone who wants to understand what really goes on at high school. Those with a daughter or granddaughter in or going into high school are encouraged to read the book to find out what today’s teenager is going through.
Troesser, who has family and friends from the Laddonia and Vandalia area, has been writing since she could hold a pencil and has self-published two previous short stories. She has been featured in local newspapers and on local television stations. She is currently working on another novel while attending Missouri Western State University as a freshman.
