Former Community R-VI standout Brittni Brandwein — who tallied more than 1,000 points for the Lady Trojans in her high school career — is continuing her success at the collegiate level as a varsity guard for the Culver-Stockton Wildcats, in Canton.
Brandwein has played all 13 games for the Wildcats so far in her freshman season, chipping in an average of 3.2 points per game off the bench.
She played a total of 142 minutes, averaging about 11 minutes per game. Brandwein shoots at 31 percent, or 16-for-51 from the field and is 10-37 from behind the arc.
She has 12 total rebounds, averaging about one per game.
Culver-Stockton teammate Leah Johnson, of Van-Far High School, has seen junior varsity time for the Lady Wildcats. No stats are available for the freshman center.
The Wildcats are 5-8 on the season overall
and 0-3 in conference play.
