Brooks – Beshears

Amanda Brooks and Jordon Beshears were united in marriage during a 2:30 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Martinsburg.

Parents of the bride are Daniel and Amy Brooks of Martinsburg.

The groom is the son of Scott and Marlene Beshears of Wellsville. Grandparents of the bride are Donn and Karen Brooks of Laddonia, Mo. and John and Sandra Ahrens of Branson, Mo. and great-grandmother Ione Ahrens of Martinsburg.

The groom’s grandparents are Harold and Anna Marie Cobb of Montgomery City and the late Bazz and Mary Jo Beshears of Wellsville.

The bride wore a satin ball gown with beaded lace and a cathedral train.

The gown was strapless with a sweetheart neckline and a corset bodice.

She wore a veil with rose accents and carried a bouquet of white roses, white lilies and plum stargaze lilies.

Nikki Blaue, friend of the bride, served as Maid of Honor.

Bridesmaids were Danielle Brooks, sister of the bride, Suzan Gnade, friend of the bride, Kaley Cobb, cousin of the groom, Jina Stuckenschneider, and Sierra Turner, friends of the bride.

Trent Beshears, brother of the groom, served as Best Man.  Groomsmen were Cody Jones, Jaron Freie, Nick Scott, Branden Blaue, and Jake Cowherd, friends of the groom.

Aaron Brooks, brother of the bride, Greg Andrews and Brian Leverett, friends of the groom were the ushers.

Deann Brooks, sister of the bride and Brooke Oden, cousin of the groom, handed out programs and carried the offertory gifts.

Candle lighters were Jennie Wieberg and Samantha Schafer, friends of the bride.

Kylie Brooks and Kaden Brooks were flower girl and ring bearer, cousins of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at the Merchant Building at the Montgomery County Fair grounds.

The bride is a 2009 graduate from Community R-VI High School.

She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia in May 2012.

The groom is a 2006 graduate of Wellsville-Middletown High School.

He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Wildlife Management and Conservation from Missouri State University–Springfield in 2010.

The newlyweds are residing in Middletown.
