Devyn Elizabeth Berry and PFC John Edward Meyers II were united in marriage on September 2, 2012 at Centennial Baptist Church in Mexico, Mo. with Pastor Dan Peters officiating.
Devyn is the daughter of Darren and Sandi Berry of Perry, Mo.
She is the granddaughter of Sandy Hassien, Vandalia, and the late Saleem Hassien; and Janet and Richard Berry, Perry, Mo.
John is the son of Sonja McHale of Boonville, Mo. and John E. Meyers of Columbia, Mo.
He is the grandson of Kenneth McDonald, Vandalia, and the late Martha McDonald, and Annetta Mitchell, Boonville, Mo. and the late Thomas Mitchell.
Maid of honor was Rachel Woodhurst of Perry, Mo.
Bridesmaids were Tabetha Hopke, Vandalia, Mo.; Haley Akright, New London, Mo.; Kelsey Fogle, Hannibal, Mo.; Jessica Meyers, sister-in-law of the groom, Vandalia, Mo. and Rachel Heether, Blackwater, Mo.
Best man was Austin Rapp of Boonville, Mo.
Groomsmen were Landon Snoddy, Boonville, MO; Dakota Quinlan, Boonville, Mo.; Mick Mize, Pilot Grove, Mo.; Drake Hopke, Vandalia, Mo. and Landon Berry, brother of the bride, Perry, Mo.
Flower girl was Bryleigh Teague, cousin of the bride, Vandalia, Mo. and the ring bearer was Nate Treasure, Kirksville, Mo.
Music was provided by Jenna Bunge, Perry, Mo.
Scripture reading was by Sarah Waddell, cousin of the groom, Columbia, Mo.
A reception followed the wedding at Steinman Banquet Hall in Mexico, Mo.
Devyn is a 2011 graduate of Mark Twain High School.
She is currently attending Sam Brown Institute of Cosmetology in Columbia, Mo., where she will graduate in December.
John is a 2012 graduate of Boonville High school. He is currently serving in the USMC at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, Calif..
He will graduate from SOI in December.
Upon both of their graduations, Devyn will be joining John where he is stationed.
