The Ralls County Sheriff’s Department arrested Arnold Leonard Pargeon on Monday, September 24 on charges of attempted murder in the second degree, domestic assault, and felonious restraint.
According to an official probable cause statement from the Ralls County Sheriff’s Department, a deputy responded to a domestic disturbance call on Sunday, September 23 at Nana Street in Perry, Mo.
Upon arrival, the deputy heard a woman yelling for help from inside the home and entered the residence, where the deputy found Pargeon and a white female.
A trooper from the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrived at the residence to assist the Ralls County Sheriff’s Department.
According to the statement, the female reported Pargeon had assaulted her, at which point an ambulance was summoned.
The woman was then taken to the Hannibal Regional Hospital, where she was later released.
Pargeon’s bail was set at $500,000 — cash only bond.
He was arraigned for the charges at 9 a.m., Wednesday, September 26.
Pargeon will make another court appearance on October 10 for announcement of council, this according to the Ralls County Prosecutor’s office.
