Middletown Christian set for “Back to School” Carnival

To celebrate the beginning of the 2014-2015 school year, Middletown Christian Church will be hosting a “Back to School Carnival” on Saturday, August 2 from 4 p.m.-7 p.m.
Kids and parents will be able to enjoy pony rides, hayrides, a Bounce House, face painting, balloon modeling, a photo booth, a duck pond, and a corn pit.
There will be a watermelon eating contest at 6 p.m. for ages 5 and up.  Everything is free to the community.
Hot dogs, chips, cookies, and Koolade will be served.
Backpacks, donated by Meagan Davis-HealthCare USA-an Aetna company, will be provided free to the first 75 children attending. Montgomery County Health Department will be instructing families on tobacco hazards. The Gideon’s organization will be passing out free children’s Bibles.
Vehicles will be on display from the Montgomery County Sheriff Department, Middletown Fire Department, and the Montgomery County Ambulance.  There will also be a big green tractor.
