Ambulance District recognized

Douglass Community Services Head Start, and Bowling Green Center/Home Based Locations, recognized Wendy Hull and Van-Far Ambulance District as the 2013-2014 Outstanding Community Partner of the Year on April 1st. On May 8, they were also recognized at the Missouri Head start State Association, in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Through the efforts and supervision of Wendy Hull and the Van-Far Ambulance District a “Hero’s Night” was created that involved three Life Flight Helicopters, Ambulances, Fire trucks, City and County Police Cars, Missouri Highway Patrol Car, Missouri Conservation Department and Pike County Health Department.
They all came together to offer tours of their vehicles, equipment, and to discuss safety with families within the community.
