Mink job shadows Sen. Jolie Justus

Bryan Mink, a junior at Van-Far High School, recently job shadowed State Senator Jolie Justus at the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City.
He is a student in Mrs. Teresa Klott’s Career and Family Leadership class, and was able to follow Senator Justus for the day on May 8.
Justus, who is the Democratic Senate Minority Leader, represents the people of District 10. Mink was able to see what the day in the life of a Senator is like, including watching Justus meet with constituents, fellow representatives, and watch discussion of bills on the House and Senate floors. Mink’s name was also mentioned on the Senate floor by Justus in a general speech. Mink plans to attend the University of Missouri – Columbia and dual major in Journalism and Political Science, and minor in Sociology.
