Sixty-six units of blood taken at church
New Harmony Christian Church sponsored a dedicated blood drive for Leala McClurg on Wednesday, March 19. The drive exceeded their goal and 66 units of blood were donated. Many in the church donated food, helped at the drive, donated blood, and supported the drive with their prayers. Also, the drive was held at the Bowling Green Presbyterian Church and in appreciation of the use of their Fellowship Hall, the New Harmony CWF group made a monetary donation to the Hope Center in the name of the Presbyterian Church. Brothers and sisters in Christ working together, a blessing indeed.

The Lenten sermon series entitled “Extreme Makeover” has been very good. WE have learned the importance of a firm foundation, of tearing down walls, and the importance of “opening the door” so the builders can come in to rebuild us and make us stronger. The series will continue through Easter Sunday. Good Friday services will be held at New Harmony.
