Community R-VI holds Winter Concert

A Winter Music Program featuring Community R-VI Middle and High School students was held last Tuesday night inside the new gym.
The program took place under the direction of Eva Eikel and Rose Wilburn.
The High School Choir sang “Rise Up Shepard, and Follow,” “Sing Hey!,” “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” and “All I Want for Christmas.”
The 6th grade band followed with “Angels Diggin’ It,” “The Green Rushes of Runnymede,” “and “Christmas Tidings.”
Following the 6th grade band was the Middle School Choir. Their performance included “Sing With the Angels,” “Who’s the Little Baby,” “Peace I Leave With You” (flute performed by Dana Schulte), and “It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas.”
The Guitar Class followed with the “Rae Song” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”
Community R-VI’s Middle School and High School Concert Band concluded with “The Freedom March,” “Bobsled Run,” and “African Bell Carol.”
