Monday, Nov. 11
At 10 a.m., residents from the Special Care Unit, East Hall, and the West Hall enjoyed a movie with assistance of staff.
The veterans were taken to Van-Far High School for the Veteran’s Day program. Junior Miller was assisted by Yvette Colson and Brook McPike. Residents enjoyed exercises at 1:30 p.m. with assistance of Traci Shaw and Brook McPike.
At 6 p.m., the Bible Class was held with Denna Nichols and with assistance of Angie Gerdeman. A large crowd was in attendance.
Tuesday, Nov. 12
At 10 a.m., residents enjoyed exercises with the assistance of Davaline Overton and Susan Jennings. Residents enjoyed a Bible Class at 1:30 p.m. with Mary Bufford. A large crowd was in attendance.
At 6:30 p.m., residents enjoyed the monthly music program with Wayne Lynn, Marvin Soey, the Rev. Jaime Franke, and wife, Christy. A large crowd was in attendance.
Wednesday, Nov. 13
At 10 a.m., residents enjoyed a movie on the West Hall.
Residents enjoyed exercises at 1:30 p.m., with the assistance of Traci Shaw and staff.
At 6:30 p.m., the Faith Tabernacle Church held their monthly devotional program with a large crowd in attendance.
Thursday, Nov. 14
At 10 a.m., the Second Christian ladies held their monthly devotional program. They brought fresh fruit for the residents. Inez McPike. Virgie Overton, Katherine and Matthew Salmon, and Lillian Johnson. A large crowd was in attendance. From 2-6 p.m., the Red Cross blood drive was held.
Friday, Nov. 15
At 10 a.m., residents enjoyed exercises with the assistance of Traci Shaw and Davaline Overton.
A game of bingo was enjoyed at 1:30 p.m. with the assistance of the volunteers, Patsy Clithero, Jewell Hammett, Doris Ray, and Norma Daniels.
Saturday, Nov. 16
Residents enjoyed exercises with Traci Shaw and assisted by Jessica Billings and Susan Jennings.
Sunday, Nov. 17
The Second Baptist Church held the worship service at 2 p.m. Next week will be the Southside Baptist Church in charge of the services.
