On Friday, November 8, the Van-Far FFA chapter held their annual Barnwarmin’. The theme was “Night Train” by Jason Aldean.
This year’s Barnwarmin’ candidates were freshmen, Colton Craven and Jayda Borgmeyer; sophomores, Wyatt McDowell and Hailey Hopke; juniors, Billy Picton and Annaliese Hubert; seniors, Brett Hubert and Ciara Craven; and wildcards, Kyle Decker and Chevi Windland.
The candidates had to compete in five different games, including an obstacle course and karaoke. All of the candidates did their best, but in the end, the wildcards were named king and queen.
The Van-Far FFA chapter would like to thank the community members who came out to watch the games; the judges, Gary Fowler, Chad Wallace, and Teresa Klott; the Vandalia Area Fair for the speakers; and Barnes Hog Farms for the straw.
