Monday, Oct. 28
At 10 a.m., a memorial service was held for Opal Stotler with family in attendance.
Residents enjoyed exercises at 1:30 p.m. with the assistance of Davaline Overton and staff.
At 6 p.m., the bi-weekly bible class was held with Denna Nichol and assistance by Angie Gerdeman.
Tuesday, October 29
At 10 a.m., residents enjoyed the morning play care children as they were dressed in their Halloween costumes and they sang songs. Refreshments were served of cupcakes, cookies, and fruit punch.
Residents enjoyed the afternoon play care children at 1:30 p.m., as they were dressed in their Halloween costumes and they sang songs. Refreshments were served of cupcakes, cookies, and fruit punch. Everyone had a wonderful time.
Wednesday, Oct. 30
At 10 a.m., residents from SCU, East Hall, and the West Hall all enjoyed a movie with the assistance of staff.
Exercises were held at 1:30 p.m. with Davaline Overton and assistance by Brook McPike.
Thursday, Oct. 31
At 10 a.m., The Vandalia Leader was read by Davaline Overton to residents on the East Hall.
A Halloween party was held at 1:30 p.m. with residents dressing up in costumes. First place was Donald Morris, second place, Joann Allen, third place, Edith Webber, and fourth place was Bill Wise. Employees dressed up and first place went to Susan Jennings, second place, Angie Gerdeman, third place, Kitty McCurdy, and fourth place, Tanner Wright. Residents played games and everyone had a good time.
Friday, Nov. 1
Residents enjoyed exercises at 1:30 p.m. with the assistance of Davaline Overton.
Saturday, Nov. 2
At 1:30 p.m., the monthly musical program was held with Junior and Jonathan Miller and a large crowd was in attendance.
Sunday, November 3
The Farber Christian Church held the worship service at 2 p.m. Next week will be the St. John Lutheran Church.
Birthday for November are Clementine Blanton (11/22), Bill Wasson (11/25), and Phyliss Ammons (11/30).
Donations were received from the Althea Club for the Christmas Auction.
