Duh Bus is movin’ and groovin’
Amy Kuda, co-owner of Duh Bus II, encourages everyone to experience the mobile party experience. Duh Bus II seats 14, includes limo-style seating, a built-in cooler, a dancing pole, 1,200 multi-colored LED lighting that moves to the music, and a 1,500-watt stereo system.
There is a mobile party experience cruising around town that has people turning their heads and taking notice. It may be the booming music or the colorful lights, which enhance the overall appeal.
Amy and Derek Kuda, of Vandalia, own what is referred to as “Duh Bus II.” The Kudas bought the rolling party on wheels about six months ago from a friend in Mexico. Derek was the one who had always maintained Duh Bus mechanically, so he knew it was well taken care of.
The diesel powered bus is equipped with limo-style seating, a built-in cooler, a dancing pole, 1,200 multi-colored LED lighting, and a 1,500-watt stereo system. Duh Bus is also a smoke-free environment.
Duh Bus is available for any group or party, any day of the week. With seating for 15 passengers, it is ideal for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, city tours, the high school prom, or simply hanging out with friends.
The cost to rent Duh Bus is $75 for five hours or less, or $65 per hour for six or more hours. The hourly rental fee includes an experienced driver, unlimited mileage, as well as the fuel to get around. The climate controlled bus provides a safe and comfortable atmosphere for any event.
Duh Bus driver Kelly Smith has 20 years experience of driving a bus in the local area. She will pick up guests at their home and then drop them off safely at the end of the trip.
With the price of gas these days, renting Duh Bus is an affordable option. If a group of 15 people rented Duh Bus for eight hours at a rate of $65, it would only cost each person $34.67.
In that eight hours, a group could travel to St. Louis, visit some sites, do some shopping, eat dinner, or even catch a Cardinals game, and then make it back home to Vandalia without the hassle of driving your own vehicle.
“I am a huge advocate of not drinking and driving. So we have a built in beverage cooler on Duh Bus where you can enjoy cold drinks throughout your trip. Everyone can stay together, without the worry of getting home after a night of fun,” said co-owner Amy Kuda.
There is an up front deposit to secure a specific date on the calendar. If for some reason the event is canceled within a week of the scheduled trip, the deposit is non-refundable. If after the trip, nothing on Duh Bus has been damaged, the deposit will be returned to the customer.
