Monday, September 30
At 10 a.m., residents from the SCU Unit and the East Hall enjoyed a movie with the assistance of staff.
Residents enjoyed exercises at 1:30 p.m. with the assistance of Traci Shaw and assistance from Susan Jennings.
Tuesday, October 1
Residents enjoyed playing golf with the assistance of staff.
Residents enjoyed exercises with the assistance of Davaline Overton and assistance of staff at 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday, October 2
At 10 a.m., residents on all units enjoyed seeing a movie with the assistance of Traci Shaw.
Residents enjoyed the trivia game of “Fun on the Farm Jingo” at 1:30 p.m. with assistance from staff.
Thursday, October 3
At 10 a.m., The Vandalia Leader was read to residents from SCU, East and West Halls with assistance of Davaline Overton.
The monthly residents council meeting was held with Traci Shaw and Davaline Overton at 1:30 p.m.
Friday, October 4
At 10 a.m., residents enjoyed exercises with the assistance of Davaline Overton and Traci Shaw.
Residents enjoyed the game of bingo at 1:30 p.m., with the assistance of volunteers Patsy Clithero, Jewel Hammett, Doris Ray, and Norma Daniels. A large crowd was in attendance.
Residents were taken out for supper to the VFW Fish Fry. Those attending were Donald Ray Morris, Mike McCelland, Flossie Kenaston, and Helen Shipley. Assistance was provided by Patricia Conway, Traci Shaw, and Davaline Overton.
Saturday, October 5
At 10 a.m., a memorial service was held for Shirley Watson with family in attendance.
Sunday, October 6
The Sacred Heart Catholic Church held the worship services. Next week will be the Mount Olivet Presbyterian Church in charge of the services.
Birthdays for October include Thelma Howard (10-18) and Ethel Pew (10-19).
