Liffick-Shamblin Wedding

Brittney LiffRECORD---LIFFICK-SHAMBLIN-WEDDINGick, of Curryville, and Patrick Shamblin, of Laddonia, were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m., June 21 at the Log Chapel of the Ozarks in Branson. Officiating at the double-ring ceremony was Delroy Bender, of Branson.
The cedar cabin was decorated with daisies in vases and stained glass doves on the altar. Surrounding the altar were blown glass lanterns.
Parents of the bride are Lisa Nelson, of Curryville, and Gary Liffick, of Bowling Green. Grandparents of the bride are Joyce Nelson-Knight and Phillip Knight, of Bolivar. The groom is the son of Richard and Donna Shamblin, of Williamsburg.
For her wedding, the bride wore a white strapless gown, layered with pink satin crepe trim. To complete her ensemble, she wore a pearl rhinestone tiara, a pearl necklace, and earrings. She carried a silk bouquet of yellow roses.
Attendants for the couple were Tiffany Tice and Scotty Folta, both of Laddonia.
A reception was held in the fellowship hall of Friendship Baptist Church in Mexico. Serving assistants were Tracey and Randy Darby, of Mexico; Donna Shamblin, of Williamsburg; and Glenda Griffith, of Laddonia.
The three-tier cake resembling three stacked pillows was decorated in rope icing and pink and yellow roses.
The newlyweds are residing in Laddonia. The bride is a 2010 graduate of Mexico High School and a 2011 graduate of Sanford Brown College. She is employed at the Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Community R-VI high School and is employed with Miller of Tire, of Mexico.
